Modern browsers count visible character groups, including spaces and line breaks. Older browsers may count combined characters differently. Yes. Romanised Nepali, Devanagari text, English, and numbers can appear in the same box. Words are identified by spaces, tabs, and line breaks, so each space-separated group containing a letter or number is counted. The tool does not translate or correct the text.

A Nepali letter can be formed from several Unicode components, including vowel signs and combining marks. Modern browsers let this counter group many of those components into visible character groups. Another website may count code points or storage units instead. Follow the counting rules of the form, institution, or platform receiving your text.

Yes. Count the text you plan to submit, then check whether your institution includes headings, references, tables, or footnotes in its word limit. This counter cannot decide which parts your college excludes. If the submission system provides its own counter, check the final text there as well.

You can paste text copied from Word, Google Docs, or a text-based PDF. Check for unwanted line breaks introduced by copying. Scanned PDFs and images need text extraction first. For legacy Preeti text, convert it to Nepali Unicode before checking Nepali writing; this tool is not a Preeti converter or an OCR tool.

No. It counts words and characters and provides basic editing controls. A particular word count does not guarantee a better grade or search ranking. Review accuracy, clarity, originality, and relevance separately. This is not a grammar checker, plagiarism detector, or AI-content detector.

Browsers can restrict clipboard access. If automatic copying is blocked, the tool selects your text and displays instructions. Press Ctrl+C on Windows, Command+C on Mac, or use your phone’s Copy action. Your count and text remain available.
