Generative AI Training for BBA 6 Sem Students at Ace International Business School
Before introducing a prompting framework, I asked the students to write a prompt themselves. It gave us something concrete to return to later, rather than beginning with a list of rules.
This was the starting point for my generative AI training at Ace International Business School with sixth-semester BBA students. The session combined advanced prompting, practical uses of AI for students, presentations, productivity, and automation using Claude.
Trying first, then revisiting the prompt
After the opening activity, I introduced a framework and gave the students time to write another prompt. We then compared their attempts. That comparison gave us a practical way to discuss how instructions are written and what changes when we approach the task more deliberately.
I enjoyed this part because the students had their own work in front of them. The discussion was connected to something they had just tried, not an example taken from a slide. Questions and interactive games kept the session lively and gave students different ways to participate.

Beyond basic questions and answers
We moved into advanced prompting techniques, tool recommendations, AI-assisted presentations, and ways students can use AI in their everyday work. The purpose was to help them think about the task they wanted to complete, rather than simply collect the names of more tools.
The session also included automation using Claude. Students enjoyed trying different things with it, extending the discussion beyond individual prompts. For BBA students, exploring these applications connects AI learning with the kinds of work they will encounter in academic projects and professional settings.
A useful way to keep practising
One exercise readers can try is to keep an original prompt, revise it, and compare the responses against the same goal. Look for what became clearer and what still needs work. A longer response is not automatically a better one.
